Terms and Conditions of Sale
The offering and transaction of products via our website ("parislunetier.com") are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Sale herein included.
The items ordered on parislunetier.com are supplied directly by Sarl Paris-Lunetier, located at Ccial Colombia 35000 Rennes. Sarl Paris-Lunetier is registered with the Trade and Companies Register (RCS) of Rennes under the number B 752456251, has an intra-community VAT number FR91 752 456 251, and is registered with the National File of Health Professionals (FNPS) under the number 35 26 1271 7 with the Primary Health Insurance Fund.
ARTICLE 1 - PURPOSE
PARIS LUNETIER offers products for sale on parislunetier.com, thus exercising its online sales activity exclusively intended for end consumers. An "end consumer" is defined as any individual acting for purposes that are outside the scope of their commercial, artisanal, industrial, or liberal activity. If you do not match the definition of "end consumer," please refrain from making purchases on parislunetier.com. In line with its commercial strategy, PARIS LUNETIER reserves the right to refuse any order from individuals who do not meet the definition of "end consumer" or any order that contradicts its detailed commercial policy above.
The terms and conditions of sale are subject to change, particularly in response to legislative changes. The new conditions of sale will take effect upon their publication on parislunetier.com.
ARTICLE 2 - CONSENT TO CONDITIONS
You have the possibility to consult the current version of the Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time by selecting the "Contact Us" link.
Furthermore, with each purchase made on parislunetier.com, you will be required to validate your agreement with the Terms and Conditions of Sale applicable at the time of your order.
ARTICLE 3 - PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Our products are offered as long as they are available in stock. Exceptionally, errors may occur, especially when several customers order the same product simultaneously. If a product becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we commit to informing you by email as soon as possible.
When a product is out of stock, the "add to cart" option is removed, thus making the item unorderable.
parislunetier.com is not responsible in case of stock depletion or unavailability of products.
If an ordered product is not available, Paris Lunetier will notify the customer by email. The customer will then have the option to choose another product available on the site or request a refund within 30 days, in accordance with Article L 221-20-3 of the Consumer Code.
ARTICLE 4 – ORDER PLACEMENT
By confirming your online order, you fully accept and commit to respecting the Terms and Conditions of Sale established by parislunetier.com in your interactions with the site. If you do not agree with the terms outlined in these Conditions of Sale, we advise you not to finalize your order on parislunetier.com. By submitting your order form, you attest to having read the General Conditions of Sale and accepting them without any reservation.
ARTICLE 5 – ORDER PROCEDURE
You have the possibility at any time to:
- Add products to your cart by clicking on "add to cart".
- View the products you have selected by clicking on "cart".
- Modify your selection by adjusting the quantities of the chosen products.
For each item added on parislunetier.com, a summary page will appear, displaying the product photo, its colors and references, the selected quantity, its unit price, and the total order amount. It is important to verify the accuracy of your order before its confirmation.
Although we strive to ensure the fidelity of the colors and patterns of the products presented on parislunetier.com compared to the originals, variations may occur, notably due to the technological limits of color rendering on computer devices. Thus, parislunetier.com cannot be held responsible for any possible errors or inaccuracies of the images or graphics of the products on the site.
For any questions related to the products, our Customer Service remains at your disposal.
Placing an online order requires that you provide accurate and complete information regarding: title, name, first name, telephone number, email address, as well as billing and delivery addresses.
Once your order is finalized, it is immediately sent for processing. You will have the possibility to modify or cancel it only by contacting Customer Service via the contact section.
parislunetier.com reserves the right to refuse an order from a customer with whom there exists a dispute regarding a previous order, or if parislunetier.com reasonably considers that the customer has violated the General Conditions of Sale or for any other legitimate reason.
An order summary will be sent to you by email, including the detail of the ordered products, quantity, price, as well as the delivery fees.
You also have
the option to create an account to save your billing and delivery information for future orders. A personal password will be requested to access this account during your future visits. It is your responsibility to keep these credentials confidential and not share them with third parties. Any purchase made through these credentials will be considered as made by yourself. In case of loss, theft, or fraudulent use of your password, you commit to immediately inform parislunetier.com.
ARTICLE 6 - PRICING
The prices of our items are presented in Euros, VAT included, excluding costs related to processing and shipping, and in some currencies for other countries.
For any order destined for a country other than metropolitan France, you act as the importer of the concerned products. Fees such as customs duties, local taxes, import taxes, or state taxes may apply for shipments outside the European Union and DOM-TOM. These fees are not the responsibility of parislunetier.com and are at your charge. It is your responsibility to declare and pay them to the competent authorities in your country. We recommend you to inform yourself about these aspects with local authorities.
parislunetier.com reserves the right to revise its prices at any time, but the items will be billed based on the prices in force at the time the orders are recorded, provided they are available.
The rates displayed on the site are specific to online sales and may therefore differ from those applied in-store, which may be higher.
Regarding the mutual insurance quote section for adding lenses, the indicated prices are only estimated. It is a preliminary indication. Only the transmission of your prescription via our form will allow us to prepare a standardized optical quote compliant with the legal requirements of the profession. This quote will be prepared by our store in Rennes, accredited by social security.
ARTICLE 7 - PAYMENT METHODS
The accepted modes of payment include: Visa, MasterCard, American Express. Your payment is secured and encrypted through Shopify Payments, Apple Pay, PayPal, Alma, Klarna, IDeal, Bancontact.
To prevent any fraud, Paris Lunetier may require the customer to provide supporting documents to confirm their identity, the legitimacy of their payment method, and/or their residence address. The verification process can extend the order processing time by 7 business days for bank verification. This information is collected in accordance with the law n° 2004-801 of August 6, 2004, which protects personal data and amends the law n° 78-17 of January 6, 1978, related to information technology, files, and freedoms. The customer has the right to access, modify, and delete their personal data at any time, a right they can exercise with Paris Lunetier.
Paris Lunetier reserves the right to suspend or cancel any order and/or delivery, regardless of its stage of progress, in case of non-payment or partial payment of any sum owed by the buyer, in case of payment incident, or in case of fraud or attempted fraud concerning the use of the Paris Lunetier website, including for previous orders.
ARTICLE 8 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
The ordered items will be sent to the delivery address specified during the ordering process.
Shipping Options with DHL
- In France : Free shipping for all orders.
- Within the European Union : Shipping at €9 for all orders.
- Outside the European Union : Shipping at €29 for all orders.
DHL Premium Option: For priority handling of your order compared to customers who have not selected this option, a DHL Premium option is available with an additional charge of €10 (in France), €6 (within the European Union), and €10 (outside the European Union).
Customs duties and import taxes are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Please note that for orders outside the European Union, including the United Kingdom (post-Brexit), these charges may apply. No shipment will be canceled or refunded due to these charges.
Any delivery delay exceeding 15 business days after shipment must be reported to our Customer Service team via the contact section.
Our shipping times usually range from 48 hours to one week (business days), depending on our order volume. In accordance with French law, specifically Articles L.216-1 to L.216-3 of the Consumer Code, the seller must ensure the delivery of goods or services within a maximum period of 30 days after the conclusion of the contract.
For real-time tracking of your order, we invite you to use our online tracking service.
In case of a delivery delay exceeding seven (7) days, except in cases of force majeure, the customer may cancel their order within sixty (60) days following the end of the aforementioned seven (7) days by sending a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to Sarl Paris Lunetier - Cc Colombia 35000 Rennes, provided that the parcel has not yet been shipped.
Upon receipt, it is essential to verify the conformity of the delivered items and to immediately report any irregularity on the delivery slip as written and signed reservations, then contact our Customer Service team via the contact section.
At Paris Lunetier, we place great importance on the safety and quality of our shipments. All our valuable products are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
We exclusively offer home delivery, directly to the address specified at the time of the order. Please note that any address change communicated directly to the courier or after the order has been validated will not result in any refund in case of loss or non-delivery of the package.
Please also note that any fraud or attempted deception will result in a complaint and severe legal penalties. We take fraud attempts very seriously and will not hesitate to pursue legal action if necessary.
ARTICLE 9: RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
To organize a return, please log in at https://account.parislunetier.com/ and submit your return request.
It is imperative not to proceed with a return without our prior consent and without us having provided a return voucher. No refund will be granted if the procedure is not strictly followed.
PARIS LUNETIER commits to offering superior quality products. However, if the product received does not meet your satisfaction, PARIS LUNETIER offers an exchange or a refund within 30 days, in accordance with Article L 221-20-3 of the Consumer Code. You have up to 14 days after receiving the product to return it.

- Returned items that are damaged, incomplete, or modified will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your expense.
- Unidentified returns may be sent back to the sender.
- Please note that any attempt at fraud, such as failing to include the item in the return package, substituting it with a different product, or any other form of deception, will result in legal proceedings and severe penalties. We treat cases of fraud with the utmost severity and will initiate legal action if necessary.
Exceptions
Items made to the consumer's specifications, clearly personalized, or which, by their nature, cannot be returned (such as custom orders), are excluded from the right of return in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code.
For returns of products accompanied by a care sheet (cerfa n°11389*03, S3115f) or having benefited from direct billing to health insurance funds, no refund or exchange will be possible.
Sales including corrective lenses and drilled frames from brands Cartier and Fred are also exempt from refunds (in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code).
Purchases made with third-party payers are also excluded from the right of withdrawal and cannot be cancelled, refunded, or exchanged.
Frames from the Set For You by Cartier programme are considered unique personalised products. Therefore, once an order has been placed, these items are not subject to modification, exchange or refund. This policy reflects our commitment to providing an exclusive personalisation experience specifically for the individual who placed the order.
EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT DIRECTIVE 2011/83/EU
In accordance with European legislation (Directive 2011/83/EU), customers residing in a European Union country have a right of withdrawal for 14 days following receipt of their order. This period allows the consumer to return the products without justification, provided that they have not been personalised or damaged. For purchases made outside the European Union, all sales are firm and final, and may not give rise to any return or refund.
ARTICLE 10 - WARRANTY POLICY
All our products benefit from a two-year warranty against hidden defects, in accordance with French legislation. This warranty is based on the provisions of the Civil Code concerning hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code).

All texts, comments, publications, illustrations, and images displayed on parislunetier.com are protected by copyright and intellectual property rights on a global scale. Therefore, and in accordance with the terms of the Intellectual Property Code, their use is restricted to a private setting.
Any other use, considered as counterfeiting, is liable to sanctions under the Intellectual Property Law, unless prior explicit authorization is obtained from parislunetier.com.
It is strictly prohibited to reproduce, in whole or in part, the catalog of parislunetier.com. All rights are reserved.
ARTICLE 13 – LIABILITY
The products available comply with current French legislation. It is your responsibility to consult the local authorities of your country to confirm the possibility of importing or using the products or services you wish to order.
ARTICLE 14 – APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
This contract is written in French and governed by French law. In case of dispute, exclusive jurisdiction is attributed to the French courts.
ARTICLE 15 – PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
parislunetier.com commits not to disclose to third parties the personal information you provide. This information is treated as confidential and will be used solely by our internal services for the processing of your order, to personalize communication and the product cultural offer intended for parislunetier.com customers, including through newsletters of parislunetier.com to which you might subscribe, according to your interests.
Thus, in accordance with the "information technology and freedoms" law of January 6, 1978 (declaration number 1642054 v 0), you have the right to access, rectify, and oppose personal information concerning you.
